MANZANITA WRITING WEEKND FEBRUARY 1 TO 3, 2013

Finding it hard to devote time to write on a new or existing writing project?  Take a weekend to re-boot your writing at the beach.  Join us in Manzanita, Oregon Friday, February 1 through Sunday February 3, 2013.  There will be time to write, relax and play on the beach.
 
Who should attend? Writers looking for uninterrupted time to write in a safe and nurturing setting.  All genres welcome, including: poetry, personal essay, non-fiction, and memoir/creative non-fiction. The weekend is idea for any level of writing or stage of your project.  Come for the evening, a day or the entire weekend.   

Where: The Contemplative Arts Center in Manzanita, OR.  Please note: overnight lodging is not available at the The Contemplative Arts Center.  Lodging will be on your own.  Please visit website www.bootcamp4writers.com for information on lodging options and to register. 

Schedule: Friday, 2/1/13 - 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm - Introductions/writing time

Saturday, 2/2/13 - 9 am to noon - work shopping/critique of writing
1 pm to 4 pm - writing time
7 pm - TBD: Dinner together in Manzanita

Friday, 2/3/13 - 9 am to 1 pm - work shopping/critique of writing

This workshop is led by Kelly Wallace, who owns and operates the Writers Boot Camp West.  She was a Hawthorne Fellow ‘12 at The Attic Institute and is a member of the Pinewood Table writer’s group led by Stevan Allred and Joanna Rose.
