A November 3 reading in Southwest Portland celebrates the release of Brave on the Page: Oregon Writers on Craft and the Creative Life, a collection of 42 author interviews and essays.
Liz
Prato, Michael Gettel-Gilmartin, Duncan Ellis and Laura Stanfill will
read short selections from their work. Kristen Forbes, Joanna Rose,
Stevan Allred, Steve Denniston, Bart King, Nancy Townsley and Gigi
Little will read their flash essays published in Brave on the Page, which was released in October by Forest Avenue Press, based in Southwest Portland.
The
event will be held at 2 p.m., November 3, at Fulton Park Community
Center, 68 SW Miles St. Admission is free, there's plenty of parking and
refreshments will be served.
