Marie-Elizabeth Mali's first book of poems is Steady, My Gaze (Tebot Bach, 2011). She's a co-curator of the Page Meets Stage Reading Series and louderARTS, both in New York City. Before receiving her MFA from Sarah Lawrence College, she practiced traditional Chinese medicine. 

Peter Mountford spent two years in Ecuador working as a hack economist and token liberal for a right wing think tank based in Arlington, Virginia. A Young Man's Guide to Late Capitalism, his debut novel, was published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in April 2011. His short stories have appeared in Best New American Voices 2008, Conjunctions, The Normal School, Phoebe, and Boston Review.  

David Wolman's books include A Left-Hand Turn Around the World (2005), Righting the Mother Tongue (2008), and The End of Money (2012). He is a contributing editor at Wired, and his work has been anthologized in the Best American Science Writing series. Wolman has also written for publications such Outside, Mother Jones, Newsweek, Discover, High Country News, and New Scientist. A former Fulbright journalism fellow in Japan, he now lives in Portland and recently received a fellowship from the Oregon Arts Commission.
